The responsibility for a huge amount of responsibility falls in the hands of every Praise and Worship leader across the world because God's presence at the congregation is dependent on it and the destinies of the church's members depend on the way they worship. If worship is done in a manner that God is not present and minister in a meeting or a person who is on the verge of tragedy or catastrophe will leave church the same way they came and miss an chance for them to receive the blessings of God. It is time for us to get serious about the most fundamental aspect of the ministry in the home of the Lord. For the worship experience to be different, I think its time we did things differently.
Here are ten reasons you should practice worship and praise in the correct method.
1. Man was made to worship and praise not only for the Sunday however, on a daily basis. The reason most people do not have an encounter with God when they sing on Sunday mornings is because they don't worship at home. They haven't developed the intimacy with God even although they are good Christians.
2. Worship has more to do with the one who is worshipping and his connection to the god worships (Jehovah God).
3. Everyone can sing songs that talk about God, but it takes a specific connection with God to be able to access the presence of God through the process of worship.
4. Sometimes, you sing praises out of an overflow, however other times you may have to make a sacrifice in praise. David declares the following in Psalms: "I will bless the Lord at all times"! It's not necessary to feel like doing it from the moment you start however, if you start, and you worship him to the core, God will come through to help you.
5. God can accomplish much more through the actions of a person who is connected during times of worship than one who is connected and disassociated from the things he's working on.
6. One doesn't need to have outstanding talent, just an ardent love for God with a tune and a life given to God. There is a cost to be a Praise and Worshipper in the presence of God. You have to be separated from the world, completely devoted towards your connection with God the Most High God
7. It is possible to develop the ability to sing but it is the anointing that grants you access to the presence of God. You can't make a statement to God with your skill as He is the one who made it available your gift in the first place.
8. The key job of a praise and worship leader is to open the heavens and to reveal the purpose for us to gather, in order for a meeting with God. God. When God shows up, He does not depart from us the way He found us.
9. There are songs that encourage us to worship and songs that carry the presence of God. These are not the songs that you sing because they are in the "top 20". They are God inspired songs, not your songs.
10. Miracles, signs and wonders begin to take place in an atmosphere that has been created by worship. Therefore, it isn't a way to warm up for preaching. It is a way of ministering to God and when God is ministered to , He is glorified by His presence.
In closing, I would like to encourage you to stay consistent in worship. Worship God in your home together with your family, in your cell groups, and in the near future, it will be a powerful lifestyle and when you come together in church, what a great time you will have.
