Bru na Bainne- The Passage of Tombs
The World Heritage site is one of the most important prehistoric site in Europe, and it is a must to experience during your visit. It is more ancient than the Egyptian Pyramids and contains around 40 passage graves. Situated on the River Boyne, the area is also ideal to explore by walking.
The Brazen Head Pub, Dublin
The Brazen Head pub is believed to be one of the oldest of Dublin and has a the traditional Irish character. The pub is said to be haunted, and dating back to 1198. The Brazen Head is a great place to pop into for a traditional Irish lunch and a pint Guinness.
Galway Cathedral
The cathedral is located on the riverbanks of River Corrib in Galway City located in the middle of a lively community. The cathedral is regularly used for services and is an excellent location to explore the religious pathways of Ireland. Even if you are not religious yourself The Cathedral will enlighten your experience with Irish tradition and culture. The best time to visit would be during The Galway International Oyster Festival between 22nd- 25th September 2011.
Belfast
The Northern Ireland Capital is maps of ireland packed full of arts, entertainment, shopping and museums. One of the best times to visit is during the Cathedral Quarter Arts Festival held between the 2nd- 30th May 2011. The festival is a showcase of international performers bringing comedy, music and street theatre to the city centre of Belfast.
